These are used to clean air from oil mist, oil smoke, emulsion mist, welding smokes and dusts, soldering, oil vapors and small technical dusts. Electrostatic filters characterize by high separation efficiency of the most harmful particles with dispersion from 0,005 um to 100 um.
Electrostatic filters you can divide into passable and stationary.
Welding smokes filtering
Electrostatic filters are especially recommended for welding of oiled elements, where in welding smoke are oil vapors; PEFO electrofilters characterize by high separation efficiency and long lasting of the inlets - distinct from conventional filters which can be sealed in working with polluted oil vapors.
Oil mist and aerosol filtering
In oil mist there is aerosol (particles > 1 um) and oil vapor (particles < 1 um). Electrostatic filters are the only kind of filters which effectively separate particles with dispersion < 2 um. PEFO electrofilters for oil mist are equipped standard with U-bend for oil which condenses in filtering process on capturer panel (oil can be used again as a refrigerant).
Polluted air is extracted from emission zone and directed to initial mechanical filter in which bigger particles are separated. In ionizer zone polluted particles are positively charged by direct current 12000 V than going through capturter zone in which positively charged particles are charged by direct current 6000 V and than settle on negative electrodes. After going through final mechanical filter cleaned air is blown away by ventilator.
